The page of Piracy! Yes, that's right, Piracy with a capital P! Anyways, read on, me hearties! Oh, and there's a pronunciation guide next to every character for your viewing ease. It's in the parentheses.
Kryda Mikip(Kr-EYE-duh MICK-hip) is the antiheroine pirate lassie out for revenge upon the man who took her right eye, hence the title of the strip (Eye for an Eye). She remembers a few things, and it hurts for her to try to remember certain things. This is due to the brain damage the loss of her eye caused. First appearance: Chapter 1, Comic 1 Real life muse: The one and only "Krist" P. Yes, I am egotistical to base a character off myself. Also somewhat uncreative.
Erik Neerag(AIR-Rick NEE-rag) is a scholar studying to be a doctor. He has a kind and caring heart and won't skip over someone who needs his assistance. Therefore, it's not odd to him that he helps the piratical heroine out when he finds her lying in the street. First appearance: Chapter 1, Comic 4 Real life muse: originally drawn as a portrait of Ewan McGregor. Didn't turn out right, and thus we created Erik.
Savat Arkat(Sa-VAY Ar-KAY) is Kryda's best friend. Whether or not Kryda remembers her is still yet to be seen. She ended up in the oubliette after the man who took out Kryda's eye...erm...took out her eye. First Appearance: Chapter 2, Comic 1 Real life muse: We can't quite place who this is supposed to be based off of.
Dameon na Castanelle(DAY-mee-un nah Cast-ah-NEHLL) is the young prince of Castanelle. He was kidnapped by the man who took Kryda's eye, demanding ransome for his safe return. He was raised to be a prince, and is somewhat of a spoiled brat. Also known to be quite good with the ladies, if you catch my drift. First Appearance: Chapter 2, Comic 2 Real life muse:Also unsure of this one.
Rhys Sint(Rees Sihnt) is a young piratical castaway, who, you may have guessed, has something to do with Kryda. Unfortunately, what that relationship is cannot be disclosed just yet. All you get to know is that he washed up on the shores next to Port Plether. First appearance: Chapter 3, Comic 1 Real life muse: Shadow.
Ascha Nerol(AH-shah Neh-ROLE) is the daughter of a rich merchant in Port Plether. A very spoiled brat, she must get everything she wants. She has an immediate attraction to the boy above, Rhys. She also has a bad attitude. Never mistake her words for sarcasm. First Appearance: Chapter 3, Comic 1 Real life muse:Alicia Note: Alicia wrote out Chapter 3 prior to me turning it into a comic. It was rather hilarious, and a better version of my original conception (for flying vases would have escaped my imagination), so I used it for Chapter 3.
Lexington A. Connathey(LEX-eeng-tuhn Ay CON-nah-thee) is a young maiden on a quest for her lover, a Prince, and the very same prince of chapter 2, who is stuck in an oubliette with Savat. She is determined to organize a search party and leave behind the tavern she has been learning to manage, for after all, nothing will stop her from reaching her love. First Appearance: Chapter 4, Comic 7 Real life muse: Alexiel
Princess Arisa(Ah-REE-sah) is the sickly albino crown princess of Solglen Isle. Also yet to be disclosed to the general public. First Appearance: Unforseen. Real life muse: Either Annie or Marianne, we will decide when we get to them.
Sir Argent of Skarza(Ar-GENT SKAHR-zah) is the extremely faithful bodyguard of Princess Arisa. You guessed it, he isn't in the comic yet either. First appearance: Unforseen. Real life muse: Stuart Townsend as Lestat in Queen of the Damned. Merely his appearance, which was altered to look more like my original conception. I merely thought that he looked an awful lot like I imagined Argent to look like first. |
